This position requires daily responsibility for all Forming and Finishing Crews, including Carpenters, Finishers and Concrete Laborers.

 

Primary duties include:

Plan daily activities with project team to meet short and long range goals

Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment

Provide technical expertise throughout the construction process

Make personnel recommendations

Ensure work is executed safely and that employees have received appropriate training.

Ensure Risk Management and Liability Reduction

Plan and confer with Company personnel and design consultants to effectively accomplish work

Evaluate daily, weekly and monthly project budget performances with Project management teams

Analyze, discuss and assist with forecasting of current and upcoming project labor, material and equipment needs

Review Foreman's daily reports

Preferred Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Formed Concrete Structures, Site Concrete and Flatwork: at least 5 years field construction management experience, a high school diploma, strong computer skills and a clean driving record. Bi-lingual in Spanish desirable but not required. Construction Management with Formed Concrete Structures, Site Concrete and Flatwork: 10 years

Our team is currently looking for an estimator to focus on Concrete projects in the Industrial sector.  Projects primarily include large footings and foundations, post tension concrete, slipforming, tilt wall, caissons, concrete paving, large tank rings, windmill turbine foundations and substation foundations and piers.

Job Summary:
A successful Concrete Estimator will analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects.  Routinely interact with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors in preparation of bids. Is generally under the supervision of Production Manager. Proficient with plan take off software, MS Office, CE, MS Project.

On Site Construction Superintendent

Summary

MBA Construction is leading builder in the energy industry. It is currently seeking a Construction Superintendent with extensive experience in experience involving manufactured metal buildings and site development. MBA Construction provides complete design-build services to our clients. The positions requires on site management.  Project size ranges from $1,000,000 to $10,000,000.
 

Pay will be based on experience. Position directs activities of workers concerned with construction of buildings, pipelines, or other construction projects.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:                                                                                                                                                                
Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction. Meets with members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project. Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Confers with and directs subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. Confers with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods. Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules. Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. Directs workers concerned with major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing installations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises multiple Sub Contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include safety training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
